Make a disclosure
It is the Catholic Church’s strong preference that any complaint concerning an alleged crime be referred to the police, so that it can be dealt with appropriately through the justice system. |
If you have a complaint about how the Church operates and how its personnel conduct themselves, you can make a disclosure in a number of ways. When making a disclosure, it’s important you include as much information as you can.
If at any stage you’d like to speak to one of our staff about making a complaint, call 1800 337 928 or (07) 3324 3070, Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm.
Before making a complaint, we always recommend you try talking with your local Church representative - this is often the quickest and easiest way to address your concerns or fix a problem. If you’re not satisfied with the response, or feel uncomfortable talking with the Church Representative directly, then you may contact us.
