The Professional Standards Office Queensland is the Provincial (State) Office for the Catholic Dioceses of Queensland:

The Professional Standards Office Queensland is dedicated to responding to incidents of abuse and misconduct by Church Personnel.

What We Do

  • Respond to concerns, complaints and disclosures of abuse and misconduct by Church Personnel
  • Inform persons of their rights and the pathways available for a response from the Catholic Church
  • Manage complaints in accordance with the Catholic Church’s National Response Protocol
  • Assist Church Authorities to improve policies and procedures to refine safe and ethical practices
